Deacon Larry Oney – “Preaching Jesus”
Franciscan University Presents – November 2016
With so many people hungering for answers to life’s questions, preaching Jesus Christ has never been more important. How can priests and deacons satisfy that hunger through their ministry preaching the Word of God? And what role do Catholic lay people have in preaching Jesus in the new evangelization? Deacon Larry Oney, president of Hope and Purpose Ministries, discusses these and more questions with host Michael Hernon, vice president of Advancement at Franciscan University, and panelists Dr. Scott Hahn and Dr. Regis Martin of Franciscan University’s Theology Department.
